Zenobia Fine, 82 of Valdosta, died on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Born on October 11, 1922 in Fitzgerald, GA, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Maver Connelly Halford. She was a homemaker and a member of Charity Baptist Church.
Mrs. Fine is survived by her husband who she married on June 10, 1945 in Opa Locka, FL, Richard Fine of Valdosta; a daughter, Delores Sherouse of Kennesaw, GA; a son and daughter-in-law, Owen and Gale Fine of Miami, FL; two grandsons, Keith Sherouse of Kennesaw, GA and Owen Fine, Jr. of Portland, OR; a granddaughter and her spouse, Dawn and Miles Dennard of Quitman, GA; a sister and brother-in-law, Frances and John Bearden of Zephyrhills, FL; 7 great grandchildren; and a nephew and his wife, Neil and Susan Curtis of Homestead, FL.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 26, 2005 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Dr. Clyde Stokes officiating.
