Zenna Mae Carter, 65, of Lake Park passed from this life on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Langdale Hospice House. She was born on February 3, 1955 in Adel to the late Frank Hundley, Sr. and the late Lula Mae Hundley. She is preceded in death by her husband, Columbus Carter, Jr., three brothers, Thomas Hundley, Frank Hundley, Jr., Lewis Hundley. Zenna loved to live, laugh and spend time with family.
She leaves to cherish her memory as a loving mother to her daughter, LaTerrica (John’Tora) Luster of Lake Park; her son, James (Amber) Carter of Valdosta. Five stepsons, Charles(George Ann) Carter of Naylor, GA, Jerome (Patricia) Carter of Valdosta, GA, Samuel (Gloria) Carter of Orlando, FL, Curtis Carter of Valdosta; stepdaughter, Carolyn (Larry) Miller of Lake City, FL; three brothers, James-Ted (Carolyn) Hundley, Authur Lee Hundley, Willie Lee Hundley all of Valdosta; three sisters, Lillie Pearl Davis of Orlando, FL, Lutricia Hundley of Jacksonville, FL, Mary (Benjamin) Pierce of Valdosta, GA: two sisters in law, Willean Hundley of Valdosta, Jackie Hundley of Old Bridge, New Jersey; brother in law, Benjamin Pierce of Valdosta. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Three special grandchildren, Kevon, Trinity and N’ila; four devoted friends, Mrs. VerShell of Lakeland, GA, Francine Patrick of Valdosta, GA, Shirley Bellamy and Linda Cox both of Lake Park, GA.
Homegoing services will be held at 3pm, Saturday, June 13, 2020 in the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Park with Minister Travis Hundley officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5-7pm at the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home of Lake Park.
