Yvonne Studstill Brigman

Yvonne Studstill Brigman, 84, of Hahira died Sunday, May 17, 2015 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Berrien County on December 28, 1930 to the late Henry Gordon and Rebecca Parrish Studstill. Mrs. Brigman graduated in 1947 from the Old Nashville High School, ABAC and Georgia Southern College. She taught school in the Berrien County and Lowndes County School Systems for many years. Mrs. Brigman was a member of the Hahira United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Quilters Guild.
Survivors include two sons and daughters in law, Jimmy and Pam Brigman, Bernie and Tanya Brigman all of Hahira; grandchildren, Bailee Brigman, Hunter Brigman, Brittany and J. T. Vickery, Sarah and Ryan Sizemore and Macie Roberts, two great grandchildren, Shane Vickery and Brandon Sizemore; sister and brother in law, Orpha and Lewis Fountain of Nashville; sister in law, Hilda Studstill of Lakeland; numerous nieces and nephews including nephew, Bart Fountain and niece, Darla Fountain, special caregivers, Monica Gay, Mallory Gay, Crystal Butler and Terry Carter. She was preceded in death by her husband, William T. (Bill) Brigman and a brother, Laverne Studstill.
Funeral services will be held at 10am, Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Lynn Hurley and Rev. Dr. Bill Woodson officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8pm at the Martin/McLane Funeral Home.
