Wyoline B. Zipperer

October 14, 1918 — November 30, 2008

Wyoline B. Zipperer, 90, of Clyattville, died on Sunday, November 30, 2008 at South Georgia Medical Center. Born on October 14, 1918, in Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late James Fletcher and Leona McDonald Black. Mrs. Zipperer was a member of Clyattville United Methodist Church where she worked with the youth and United Methodist Women. She was also the Treasurer and a Sunday School teacher.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Alfred and Bernice Zipperer of Horsham, PA, Earl and Gloria Zipperer of Clyattville, Bascom & Mary Zipperer of Cibolo, TX, Troy & Janet Zipperer of Spring Branch, TX, Ann Knight and Ben Zipperer, both of Clyattville; brother and sister-in-law, Charles A. and Emma Black of Augusta. Also surviving are seventeen grandchildren and their spouses, Brinda & Bill Stern of PA, Barbara Zipperer of PA, Robin & Doug Bearrentine, Lorri & Bart Rogers, all of Clyattville, Peggy Zipperer of WA, Patti & Dean Wood of WA, Sean Kebis of CA, Charles & Barbara Zipperer of Lake Butler, FL, Cheryl Williams of Pinetta, FL, Candice Zipperer of Spring Branch, TX, Jon Paul & Leslie Pattinson of Dallas, Renee and Scott Dickson, Meredith & Sean Nolan, Scottie Zipperer, all of Valdosta, Leona Zipperer, Benjamin Zipperer, Jon & Tonya Wilkes, all of Clyattville; twenty four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Zipperer was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Zipperer, grandson, Jimmy Zipperer, two brothers, James and J.D. Black, and great grandsons, Nathan Walker and Dalton Wilkes

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at Clyattville United Methodist Church with Rev. Mollie Danner, Rev. John McGowan and Rev. Ted Sauls officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Carson McLane Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Clyattville United Methodist Church.
