Wycliffe Williams

Wycliffe "Cliff" Williams, 72, of Valdosta died Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born on February 29, 1936 in Berrien County to the late Calvin and Carolyn Aurelia Richardson Williams and had lived in this area all of his life.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Crews Williams of Valdosta, son and daughter in law, Calvin Dewayne and Misty Williams and grandson, Auston Williams, son, Jason Wycliffe Williams all of Valdosta, loving daughter, Janet Williams Pattillo of Gulfport, MS., daughter, Teresa, three sons, Earl Williams, Mike Williams, Felix Williams and their children, five sisters and four brothers in law, Faye McLuskey of Lenox, Jacquelyn and Howard Pearman of Tifton, Beverly Ann and Freddy Davis, Wanda Sue and Jackie Snow, Linda Kay and Robert Curry all of Lenox, three brothers and sisters in law, Vernon and Geneva Williams of Enigma, Preston and Louise Williams of Lenox, Billy and Etole Williams of Alapaha, sister in law, Dean Williams of Nashville, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Emma Jean Williams Rogers and a brother, Ronald Williams.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30p.m. Thursday, September 11, 2008 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Don Williams and Dr. William Warnock officiating. Burial will follow in the Hebron Cemetery in Jasper, Florida. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
