Winston Willard Shaw

Winston Willard Shaw, 76, of Valdosta died Friday, January 20, 2023 at his residence. He was born on December 8, 1946 in Valdosta to the late Elliott and Frances Crosby Shaw. Mr. Shaw was a seamstress with Shaw Brothers Tent and Awning, a United States Army Veteran and a member of Frances Lake Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping with his grandchildren. Mr. Shaw always had a joke and loved to make people laugh.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sylvia Crum Shaw, two sons and daughters in law, Nathan and Shelly Shaw and Aaron and Tracy Shaw, four grandchildren, Hunter Shaw, Sierra Shaw, Drew Shaw and Matt Shaw, sister, Gwenette Farmer, two brothers and sisters in law, James and Phyllis Shaw and Cleveland and Gail Shaw.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at ten a. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Pastor Josh Poole officiating. The family requests no flowers be sent. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at www.mclanecares.com.
