Willie Terrell Sims

WILLIE TERRELL SIMS, 62, of Valdosta (Ousley Community) died Wednesday, July 5, 2006 in Jasper, Florida. He was born in Lowndes County on December 29, 1943 to the late Joe Terrell and Myrtle Ruth Stephens Sims and was a lifelong resident of Lowndes County. Mr. Sims was a veteran of the United States Army and was employed as a First Class Machinist at PCS. He was a Baptist and an avid hunter.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Sims, son and daughter in law, Joseph and Stephanie Sims, three grandchildren, Austin Sims, Thomas Sims, Josie Sims, one brother and sister in law, Joe and Alice Sims all of Valdosta.

Graveside services will be held at 2pm, Friday, July 7, 2006 at Ousley Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Montgomery officiating. The family received friends on Thursday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
