Willie Pearl Eunice

Willie Pearl Eunice of Quitman, 87, died on November 3, 2020. She was born in Berrien County to Clarence and Jewel Register Fountain on December 11, 1932 and was a lifelong resident of Lowndes and Brooks County. Mrs. Eunice was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Norman Walter Eunice, Sr. Also her parents and brother Horace Fountain, her step-father and uncle, George Fountain, step-brother James Fountain, her sister and brother in law, Ethel and Joe Hall, her brother in law, Bobby Moore, her sister in law, Lillian (W.C.) Crosby.
She is survived by her children, Carolyn Crite of Valdosta, Barbara (Tommy) Waldron of Quitman, Walter (Peggy) Eunice of Lake Park, and Jewell Elizabeth Bryant of Quitman; grandchildren, Joey Lane of Valdosta, Michael Lane of Jacksonville, FL, Jennifer (Jeff) Dell of San Diego, CA, Wayne (Christy) Waldron of Quitman, Greg (Stephanie) Waldron of Tifton, and Teri Bryant of Quitman; great grandchildren, Jennifer Lane, Albert Lane, Augustus Waldron, Kali, Ethan and Aria Waldron, Caleb and Becca Waldron; step-grandchildren, Kathy (Danny) Smith of Douglas, Matt (Sheilia) Rogers, Vickie (Wesley) Henderson, of Homerville, Mark Rogers of Jacksonville, FL; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and cousins. She is also survived by her sister, Letha Moore of Valdosta, stepsister Nina Hines, and stepbrother Fritz (Marie) Fountain, of Lake City, FL.
She was a long-time member of Friendship Primitive Baptist Church of Hahira and attended Pleasant Primitive Baptist in Valdosta. She loved her family, cooking, reading, sewing/needlework and many other things throughout her life, but more than anything she had a very special bond with her very special granddaughter Teri.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 11am in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home in Valdosta, GA. Elder Thad Marshall and Brother Fritz Fountain officiating. A private burial will be at Friendship Primitive Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to Down Syndrome Association of South Georgia by email by contacting at info@dsasouthga.org or dropped off at any Guardian Bank branch in Valdosta, or mailed to Guardian Bank, P.O.
