Mr. William Gerald Wilkerson, 54 of Valdosta, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at South Georgia Medical Center after a short illness. He was born in Valdosta on September 3, 1970 to the late William Carroll Wilkerson and Geraldine Whitley Wilkerson. Mr. Wilkerson was the 2012 Opticians Association of Georgia Optician of the Year, and was named General Manager of the Year 1st Runner Up for 2022 by Vista Optical. He attended The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Mr. Wilkerson is survived by a sister, Cheryl Mixson and her fiancé Billy Dramble of Valdosta; a brother Terrell and his wife Jie Wilkerson of Clayton, NC; nephew, Joseph Benjamin Mixson of Hahira; niece, Sophia Pak of Clayton NC; nephew William Wilkerson of Clayton, NC; niece Cassey Dramble McGhee and great niece Annaleigh McGhee both of Nashville, GA.
Funeral services for Mr. Wilkerson will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Valdosta.
