William S. (Bill) Passmore

WILLIAM S. (BILL) PASSMORE, 83, of Valdosta died Friday, January 21, 2005 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born in Valdosta on October 27, 1921 to the late Homer M. and Alma Stovall Passmore and was a lifelong resident of Valdosta. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served in World War II and a member of the First United Methodist Church. Mr. Passmore was associated with J. T. Griffin Lumber Company and a life member of the Elks Club.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara K. Passmore of Valdosta, one daughter and son in law, Anne P. and Neil Lennard of Lake Park, one son and daughter in law, William S. (Bill), Jr. and Didem Passmore of Charlotte, NC., one nephew, Billy Touchton of Orlando, Fla. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Touchton Wetherington and a brother, Homer M. Passmore, Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 2pm, Sunday, January 23, 2005 at Sunset Hill Cemetery with Dr. Charles Adams officiating.
