William Patrick (Pat) Cullen

William Patrick (Pat) Cullen, 70, of Valdosta died Tuesday, August 26, 2014. He was born in Valdosta on March 5, 1944 to the late William Milan Cullen and Maxine Althea Cooper Cullen. Pat was retired from the United States Postal Service. He served in the United States Air Force. Pat was a member of the First Christian Church where he served on the counting and sound committee. Several articles were published in fishing and outdoor magazines because of his love for fishing and the outdoors. He coached baseball at the Boy's Club and the YMCA for many years.
Pat is survived by his wife, Linda Cullen of Valdosta, his daughter and son in law, Kelly and Jeff Irvine of Union, KY, two sons and daughters in law, Sean and Lisa Cullen of Erlanger, KY and Erin and Penny Cullen of San Diego, CA, six grandchildren, Brendon Cullen, Ryle Cullen, Sierra Irvine, Shane Irvine, Aleena Cullen and Leala Cullen, one sister, Theresa Alice Cullen of Athens, one brother, Paul Pierce Cullen of Valdosta, his stepdaughter and step son in law, Tricia and Kevin Herring of Hahira, his step son and step daughter in law, Tom and Nicole Clifford of Lake Park, his step grandchildren, Trey and Huntley Herring, Ella Rose and Rhett Clifford, many special aunts, uncles and cousins and numerous fishing buddies and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Christopher Milan Cullen.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 31, 2014 at four p. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Chris Michael officiating.
