William Ned Rambo, 104, of Valdosta died Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Heritage House Nursing Home. He was born on August 6, 1905 in Valdosta to the late William A. and Janie Lee Becton Rambo. Mr. Rambo was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church .
Survivors include a daughter and son in law, Natalie and Lee Pruette of Quincy, Fla., one grandson, one great granddaughter and six great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Brannen Rambo.
Private graveside services were held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Sunset Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Charlie Scarborough officiating. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanefuneralservices.com. Carson McLane Funeral Home.
