William Lott

May 20, 1951 — October 4, 2010

William �Bill� Lott, 59, of Valdosta, died of a sudden illness on Monday, October 4, 2010. He was born in Douglas on May 20, 1951. Mr. Lott was formerly a U.S. Postal employee. He was an Eagle Scout and a disabled Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a member of Eastern Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Marie Mosley Lott, stepson and his wife, John Anthony, Jr. and Sandy Segler, grandchildren, Andrew Segler, Sadie Segler all of Valdosta; his mother, Inell Fulford Douglas of Lake Park; half brothers, Donny and Ricky Lott of Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Elbert Lott and a sister, Sherree Lott.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the graveside at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Mr. Jack Nichols will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Carson McLane Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6 � 8 p.m. Condolences may be conveyed at www.mclanefuneralservices.com.
