William Lewis O'Keefe, Jr.

William Lewis O'Keefe, Jr., 81, of Cumming, GA died Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Gracemont Assisted Living in Cumming, GA. He was born on January 25, 1932 in Sharon, GA to the late William Lewis O'Keefe, Sr. and Lila Mae Parham O'Keefe. Mr. O'Keefe was retired from civil service at Moody Air Force Base. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the United States Air Force from 1952 until 1956. Mr. O'Keefe was a former member of Morningside Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, Sunday school teacher and children's bus ministry captain.

He is survived by his wife of fifty seven years, Betty Hendrix O'Keefe of Cumming, one daughter and son in law, Kelly and David White of Cumming, GA, one son and daughter in law, John and Katie O'Keefe of Lizella, GA, two granddaughters, Logan White and Lael White and one grandson, Jesse O'Keefe. Mr. O'Keefe is preceded in death by his daughter, Patty Jean O'Keefe.

Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday, September 15, 2013 at three p. m. at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens with Reverend Robert Dawson officiating. Burial will follow.
