William Lee Richardson

William Richardson, 85, of Valdosta died Monday, September 1, 2014 at Langdale Hospice House. He was born on August 20, 1929 in St. Louis, MO to the late Allen and Ann Marie Stuthers Richardson. Mr. Richardson was a retired Bank Building and Equipment Corporation Corporate Vice President after thirty seven years of service. He served in the United States Marines for three years from 1950 until 1953. Mr. Richardson was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia Richardson of Valdosta, his son and daughter in law, Michael Richardson and Nancy Sartin of Valdosta, his daughter in law, Jane Richardson of Hudson, FL, his grandson, Chris Richardson (Jia) of Atlanta, his granddaughter, Kathryn Richardson of Arkansas, his step granddaughter, Stephanie Salinas of Hudson, FL, his great granddaughter, Rylee Richardson of Hudson, FL and his step brother in law, Ronald Miles of Pana, IL. Mr. Richardson is preceded in death by his son, Martin Richardson.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 6, 2014 at two p. m. at the Messiah Lutheran Church with Pastor Josh Brown officiating.
