William Jarvis (W. J.) Wallace

William Jarvis (W. J.) Wallace, 79, of Jennings, FL died Saturday, November 22, 2014 at his residence. He was born on July 7, 1935 in Smithfield, North Carolina to the late Edgar and Addie Wallace. Mr. Wallace worked at Publix, served in the United States Army and was a member of Swilley Hill Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Joann Wallace of Jennings, his children and their spouses, Tim and Dorothy Wallace, Jean and Harold Perry, Rose and Pete Saulsbury, Ken and Sarah Wallace, all of North Carolina, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, brothers in law and sisters in law, Bill and Lynn Rothrock of Indiana, Gene Rothrock of Lake Park, John and Kim Rothrock of Easley, SC, Martha Rothrock of Jennings, Clara and David Jones, Linda Clark and Barbara Hall, all of Valdosta.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at eleven a. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Chaplain Robert Desantis officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from ten until eleven a. m. Wednesday in the chapel prior to the service.
