William F. Simpson

William Franklin Simpson, 75, of Valdosta, died on Friday, January 6, 2005, at South Georgia Medical Center. Born in Sparks, on May 25, 1930, he was the son of the late William Daniel Simpson and Eula Lee Simpson Thompson. Mr. Simpson was a member of the Church of God. He was a small engine mechanic.

Survived by his wife, Glennett Simpson of Valdosta, three sons and daughters in law, Tommy and Susan Simpson, Robbie and Tammie Simpson, James and Melissa Simpson all of Valdosta; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren; 8 step children, 8 step grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mary Lancaster of Valdosta and Verna May Warren of Nashville.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 4 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Pastor Donnie Radney and Pastor Jody McMillan will officiate. Burial will follow at Fellowship Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 6 –8 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be conveyed online at www.mclanefuneralservices.com.
