William Robert Davis

William Robert Davis, 89, of Valdosta passed away at his home on Saturday, February 1, 2025. Born in Eufaula, Alabama on September 29, 1935, he was the son of the late Claude Henry Davis and Edna Caroline Stroud Davis. Mr. Davis received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Auburn University in 1957. He was a pharmacist, certified in Alabama and Georgia, and worked in Pharmaceutical Sales for Eli Lilly for 45 years. He married Sandra Mullins in Enterprise, Alabama on December 27, 1958. Mr. Davis was a long-time faithful member of Park Avenue Church and the Chapel Bible Class. He was a devoted husband and father, loved flying and airplanes and was an accomplished golfer, especially on and around the greens.

Survivors are his wife, Sandra Davis of Valdosta; daughters, Pamela Davis (Robert) of Hillsboro, Georgia, and Carol Davis Brunk (Walter) of Valdosta; grandson, Chris Brunk, wife, Leah and their son Austin Brunk. He will be remembered by many other close friends and family members.

Funeral services for Mr. Davis will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Park Avenue Church. Reverend Jamie Bone and Reverend Craig Rikard will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Carson McLane Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens.
