William C. Herrin

William C. Herrin, 72, of Valdosta, died on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at South Georgia Medical Center. Born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, on March 25, 1948, he was a son of the late Walter Herrin and Hazel Dickinson Herrin. He served briefly in the U.S. Army and had retired from Walmart. William enjoyed walking, and being outdoors, working in his yard and staying busy. He loved time spent with his nieces and nephews.

Survivors are his sister and brother in law, Jimmie and Charles Mock, brothers, Donald Herrin, Gerald Herrin, Johnny Herrin all of Valdosta; nephews, Michael Herrin of Valdosta and Richard (Christin) Mock of Quitman; three great nieces and nephews, Ryan Mock, Scotty Mock and Molly Mock all of Quitman.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Walter Herrin.
