William (Bill) Wicker

Mr. William (Bill) R. Wicker, 62 of Lake Park, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 4, 2013. Mr. Wicker was born on November 17, 1950 in Floyd County, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Mart and Carrie Wicker.

Survivors include wife Karen Thompson Wicker, one daughter, Michelle (Hani) Wicker, two sons; William (Angie) Wicker of Lake Park: Ron (Sherry) Wicker, Douglas, GA; grandchildren; Alliandra Wicker, Ember Wicker, Savannah Wicker, Allison Ratcliff, Sara Wicker and Isabella Wicker; also surviving are 6 brothers and 2 sisters, Jimmy (Connie) Wicker, Tim (Pat) Wicker, George (Anita) Wicker, Clinton (Angel) Wicker, Fred Wicker, Johnny (Melinda) Wicker, Tammy (Larry) Wicker, and Ammie (Lupe) Espitia; 2 sisters-in-law, Terri (Frank) Boyer & Connie Wicker and 4 brothers-in-law, Jay Mullis, Dick Reed, Larry (Betsy) Thompson and Tom Caldwell. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wicker was preceded in death by a brother, Stacy Wicker, Sister Mary Caldwell and grandson Kristian Isiaih Wicker, father-inlaw and mother-in-law, Chester and Rhoma Thompson and 2 sisters-in-law, Kathleen Mullis and Sheila Reed.

Memorial services for Mr. Wicker will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday July 14, 2013 at Tanner Baptist Church in DOuglas, GA. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at www.mclanecares.com.
