William "Bill" Roberts

William “Bill” Roberts, 81, formerly of Missouri passed away at Langdale Hospice Sunday January 24, 2021. Mr. Bill was born on March 29, 1939 to the late Durwood Anthony and Ruby Luella Roberts. He enjoyed metal and woodworking and worked on lawnmowers as well as gardening. Mr. Roberts also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Bill retired from Pacific Railroad as a B&B supervisor after 30 years of service.
Mr. Roberts is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Tony and Debbie Roberts of Naylor, GA, daughter Rhonda Green of Taneyville, Missouri; two sisters, Fern Flippo of Burlington, AR and Blondie (John) Blevins of Van, TX; and seven grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Betty Jane Roberts, his parents, one daughter, Carolyn Hampton and four brothers and two sisters.
