William A. (Andy) Phillips

William A. (Andy) Phillips, 39 of Lake Park died on Sunday, June 19, 2005 at his residence after a lengthy illness. Born on June 11, 1966 in Valdosta, he was the son of Joyce McLeod Phillips and the late William R. Phillips. He had worked as a manager for McDonald’s and was of the Christian faith.

Survivors are a sister, Teresa Phillips of Lake Park; niece, Victoria Phillips of Lake Park; daughter, Anna Phillips of Boise, ID; aunts and uncles, Susan and Jack Justice of Lake Park, May and Eddie Brogdon of Lenox; uncles and aunts, Harold and Tina McLeod of Cleveland, TN, Ray and Brenda McLeod of Tifton; paternal grandmother, Janie R. Phillips of Valdosta; great uncle and his wife, Effert and Leota Culpepper of Valdosta; great aunt, Thelma Culpepper of Valdosta and a number of cousins. He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bill Phillips and his maternal grandparents, Willie and Beatrice McLeod.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2005 in the chapel of the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home in Lake Park with Reverend Jack Justice officiating. Burial will follow in the Carter Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
