Willene Williams Clark, 62, of Lake Park, died on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on December 6, 1957 in Valdosta to the late Robert James, Sr., and Ruby Rebecca McCranie Williams and has been a resident of this area all of her life. She was known for having a green thumb and loved to be outdoors. An extremely hard worker with a heart as big as the sky, she adopted everyone as one of her “children” and wanted to make sure that they felt at home. She loved raising rabbits and puppies and finding loving homes for them. Willene was a member of Dasher Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jon Clark of Lake Park; daughters and sons-in-law, Jessica and Dennis Taylor and Carissa and Rick Carter all of Lake Park, and Stephanie and Cameron Giddens of Pasco, Washington; her grandchildren, Connor, Gabriel and Arrietty; her sisters and a brother, Rebecca Buff of Valdosta, Betty Carter of Tennessee, Robert Williams, Jr. of Valdosta, Jackie Smith of Lake Park, and Louise Fowler of Valdosta; her aunt, Christine Wynn of Florida; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Clark.
Services for Willene Williams Clark will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 in the chapel of the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home with Mr. David Nelson officiating. The burial will follow in the Copeland Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Lakewood Funeral Home.
