Wayne Burl Greenwell, 63, of Valdosta passed away suddenly at South Georgia Medical Center on Saturday, May 31, 2014. Wayne was born in Redford Township, Michigan on June 22, 1950 to the late Herman Wood and Ester Mary Greenwell. He had lived in Valdosta since 1972 and established Wayne's Cleaning Service where he would "make your tile smile". Mr. Greenwell was one of Jehovah's witnesses.
Survivors include his wife, Arlene Greenwell of Savannah; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Angie Greenwell of Lake Park, a son, Scott Greenwell of Quitman, step daughter and step son in law, Shannon (John) Tomaskovic of Enid, Oklahoma, granddaughters, Shelby Mulgrew and Madison Tomaskovic of Enid, Oklahoma; brothers and sisters in law, Neil and Barbara Greenwell of Douglas, Gary and Linda Greenwell of Silver Creek, sisters and brother in law, Betty and Gordon Sherman of Westland, Shirley Clark of Detroit, Michigan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Greenwell.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday June 7, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kingdom Hall, South Congregation, 3030 Highway 41 S.
