Waunell Bullard

Waunell Bullard, 77, of Hahira, passed away on January 21, 2025. She was born to the late James and Laura Taylor in Blackshear, Georgia on June 22, 1947. Waunell was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing arts and crafts. Waunell had a special place in her heart for her grandkids and great grandkids. She showed her love to her family by cooking whatever food items each family member desired. Waunell had three special cats that she enjoyed spending time with, Sammy, Susie, and Simon. She was married to her husband William Douglas Bullard for 58 years.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Bullard of Hahira; children, Doug Bullard of Lowndes County, Debbie Roberts (David) of Hahira, Bill Bullard(Tracy) of Nashville, Georgia, and Shannon Koenig of North Carolina; grandchildren, Kelly Herring (Jarrod), Kayla McDowell (Kevin), Jamie Bullard, Taylor Bullard (Savannah), Baylee Roberts, Shay Bullard, Connor Bullard, Deven Hadsock, and Shane Hadsock (Allison); and 10 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Waunell will have a service on Sunday January 26, 2025 at 2 pm in the chapel of the Martin Mclane Funeral Home in Hahira. Burial will follw in Cat Creek Cemetery.
