Warren L. “Bud” Adams, 74, of Statenville, died on Friday, July 7, 2006, in Douglas from injuries received in an automobile accident. Born in Coffee County on November 23, 1931, he was the son of the late Ivey and Mollie Harrell Adams. Mr. Adams was a U.S. Veteran and had worked as a dragline operator. He was a Methodist.
Survivors are his wife, Fay Henderson Adams of Statenville, daughter and son in law, Rhonda and Randall Jones of Valdosta, granddaughters, Brittany Jones and Tara Jones of Valdosta, his brother, Stacey Adams of Douglas, sisters in law and brothers in law, Linda and Joe Williams of Valdosta, Vonnie and Dick Weiser of Wedowee, Alabama, Arthur and Brenda Henderson of Statenville, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held today, Sunday, July 9, 2006, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Reverend Jerry Chancey and Mr. Ron Adams will officiate. Burial will be at Statenville Cemetery.
