Wanda Bius Greene

Wanda Bius Greene, 75, of Valdosta, died on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Southern Senior Living Community in Adel, GA. Mrs. Greene was born in Moultrie, GA to the late Vernon W. Bius and Merle Sikes Bius.

A 1957 graduate of Doerun High School in Doerun, GA, she married Wallace James Greene on September 29 of the same year. A faithful and active member of Northside Baptist Church in Valdosta since 1970, Wanda served her Lord in various ministries. None was more precious to her than planning trips for the seniors of the church. She also enjoyed getting together with her Doerun High classmates. She was the owner of Merle Norman Cosmetics Studio in the 1980's and a member of the Valdosta Quota Club.

Survivors include her husband, Wallace of Valdosta; daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Mark Kozma of Loganville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Phillip Jones of Hahira, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Gwen Bius of Albany, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Brigette Bius of Tampa, FL; sister, Gwyned Bius of Tucker, GA; grandchildren Christy (Kozma) and Mark Sentelle of Loganville, GA; Alison (Jones) and Brett Thomas of Valdosta; Kelly (Kozma) and Kennen Lock of Loganville, GA; Jared Kozma of Loganville, GA; Darby Jones of New York, NY, and Perri Jones of Hahira, GA. Great-granddaughters, Madison Sentelle, Ansley Sentelle and Emma Kathryn Lock all of Loganville, GA and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Mrs. Greene was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Bius of Valdosta.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Northside Baptist Church, Valdosta. Dr. Robby Foster and Rev. Bob Willis will officiate. Entombment will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum

The family will receive friends at the church on Friday, June 19, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the building fund at Northside Baptist Church, 200 E.
