Walter T. Tutt, 73, of Valdosta, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at his home.
He was born January 11. 1942, in Thomasville, AL, a son of the late Lloyd B. Tutt and the late Anessa Sims Tutt Harris. Mr. Tutt had retired after thirty years of employment with Allison Metal Fabrication, and had worked at Hughes Berries, Inc. for several years. He was of the Baptist faith, and avid sports fan, especially Alabama football (Roll Tide!), and he enjoyed hunting. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by one daughter, Neesa Tutt Ogren of Valdosta; three grandchildren, John Thomas Tutt and wife Lindsey of Valdosta, Wesley Ogren of Valdosta, and Jasmine Wright of Hahira; two great-grandchildren, Makenzie and April Tutt; two sisters, Lee Hughes of Fargo and Sue Easters of Valdosta; and many special nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Beth Tutt Wright of Hahira; a brother and sister-in-law, William Johnny Tutt and Alice Faye Tutt of Forkland, AL; and two brothers-in-law, George L. (Buck) Hughes of Fargo, and Larry A. Easters of Valdosta.
A Graveside Service for Mr. Tutt will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015, at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens with Brother Cary Kight officiating.
