Wallace D. Fields, 83, of Hahira died Wednesday, December 6, 2017. He was born in Hahira on July 10, 1934, son of the late Theda Cowart Pittman and the late Kinnon Fields. Mr. Fields owned and operated Fields Custom Cabinets and was a member of the Hahira United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Survivors include his daughter, Pam Williams of Cleveland, GA; two sons and daughters in law, Marshall and Nancy Fields, Charles and Beth Fields all of Hahira; seven grandchildren, Erica Williams Croley of Cleveland, GA, John Thomas Williams, Leslie Fields Norman both of Hahira, Amanda Fields Parker of Jacksonville, FL, Jeremy Fields of Hahira, Christopher Fields of Oregon, Justin Fields of Nashville, TN; six great grandchildren, Madeline Norman, Cohen Norman, Dawson Norman, Anna Grace Croley, Zachary Parker, Lily Fields ; one sister, Lovie Pittman of Valdosta. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Morton Fields and a sister, Carolyn Rowland.
Graveside services will be held at 11am, Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Friendship Cemetery with Mr. Paul Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8pm at the Martin/McLane Funeral Home in Hahira.
