Vivian C. Griner

Beloved Vivian C. Griner, 76, passed away in her Valdosta home February 14, 2020. She was born in Caldwell County, NC to the late Ezekiel Potter and Hassie Potter (Winter) on July 20,1943, but made home in Valdosta and Elizabethton, TN in her adult years. Along with her parents, Vivian is preceded in death by her husband, James Griner, former husband and friend, Byrd Tomlinson, brother Ray Potter, and three sisters: Jean Hollifield, Lois Vargos, and Joyce Peters.
She is survived by her three children: Mike Griner, Nolan Scott Tomlinson, and Cara Lynn Tomlinson, three grandchildren: Drew Kelton Jenkins, Macy Carlotta Jenkins, and Kelly Ann Martin (David), four siblings: Pete Potter, Ralph Potter, Marbeth Michael, and Fay Woodard, her special friend Bill Bunton, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Vivian requested to be cremated and did not want a funeral service. Flowers and condolences can be sent to 2984 Pecan Plantation Road Valdosta, Georgia 31601.
