Violet "Blue" Haas

Our sister, Violet "Blue" Haas, passed from this life on Saturday, November 9, 2013. She was 59 years old and much loved by her family, Roberta Haas George and Noel George, Judy Haas McNelis, Nancy Haas Phillips, Victoria Haas Bush and Charles Bush, Constance Haas Meester and her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Violet Reed Haas and her father, Robert Henry Haas.

"Blue" graduated from St. Xavier High School in Phoenix, AZ and attended ABAC Nursing studies. She was a devoted member of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church and a faithful attendee of New Beginnings, a service organization, she will be much missed.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a. m. Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Finbar Stanton of Albany officiating. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. A rosary will be said at 7 p. m. Tuesday at the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Sister Angela Abood officiating. The family will receive friends after the rosary until 8:30 p. m. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to St. John's Building Fund.
