Violet Annitta Cherry

Violet Annitta Cherry, 55, of Valdosta died on Friday, January 7, 2011 at Holly Hill Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. She was born on July 19, 1955 in Pasadena, Texas to the late Douglas N. and Margaret H. Hester Webb. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Nikki and Joseph Terrell of Valdosta; two granddaughters, Lindsay and Lauren Lewis; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Don Binder of Volcan, Panama; a brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Grace Webb of Broaddus, Texas; a brother, Barney Webb of Valdosta; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Allen Roberts.

A memorial service for Violet Cherry will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Mr. Bill Ward officiating.
