Viola L. Sangster, 69, of Valdosta, died Saturday, March 25, 2006 at her home. She was born on September 8, 1936 in Pensacola, FL to the late Joe Elmer and Mary Goodale Eddins. Mrs. Sangster was retired from Crackin Good Bakery, was a member of Azalea City Church of God and was very active in “Prime-Timers”.
She is survived by one daughter and son in law, Jacki and Jeff Bauer of Tallahassee, FL, one son, Chris Sangster of Starke, FL, two granddaughters, Riley Elizabeth Ferrell of Tallahassee, FL, Jill Mullis and her husband, James of Valdosta, six sisters and three brothers in law, Evelyn Roche, Lilie Kee, Carolyn and Ronald Herring, Velmer Wright, Christine and David Bland, Nancy and David Harvell, three brothers and two sisters in law, Tim and Evelyn Eddins, George Eddins, Buddy and Emily Eddins, all of Pensacola, FL. Mrs. Sangster is preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Sangster.
Memorial services will be held at four p. m. Wednesday, March 29, 2006 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Raymond Gabbard and Reverend Jonathan Harrell officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p. m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make contibutions to Hospice.
