Vickie Diane Pringle, 69, of Lake Park, died on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was born in Valdosta on August 3, 1952, to the late Charles Julian and Bessie Eloise Sutton Hatcher and has been a lifelong resident of Lowndes County. She had worked with Strickland Cotton Mills as an inspector. Mrs. Pringle loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and watching Law and Order SVU and old westerns. She attended Enoch Creek Church.
She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Daphne and David Covington of Lake Park, Deborah and Robert Lee of Jasper, Florida, and Brandy Henderson (Ferran Black) of Echols County; her step-children and their spouses, George and Debbie Pringle of Clyattville, and Ada and John Loss of Dade City, Florida; her bonus-daughter, Shay Knight of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Melinda and Tyler Dees, Michael and Kamae Tucker, Ashleigh Hatcher (Robbie), Austin Tucker (Brittany), Haley Henderson, Gauge Henderson, Blake Pierce; her step-grandchildren, Jennifer Barrett, Georgia Lynn Boone, Phillip Pringle, Dalton Herman; her great-grandchildren, Kenley, Rylan, Sawyer, Harrison, Emersyn, and Kaden; a sister, Lisa Cosper; her cousin and special, lifelong friend, Jeannie Roberson of Lake Park. She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos James Pringle, and a brother, Charles Hatcher.
Services for Vickie Diane Pringle will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Mickey Corbett and Rev. Zach Corbett officiating. The burial will follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
