Vanessa Hall

Mrs. Vanessa B. Hall, 89 of Lake Park, passed away peacefully in her home on April 18, 2015. Born in Carcassone, Kentucky on February 17, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Shade and Vera Bowen. Vanessa resided in Lake Park for 60 years with her husband of 69 years, Robert (Bob) Hall and her two children. A Licensed Practical Nurse, she retired from South Georgia Medical Center after 31 years of nursing service. Mrs. Hall was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Park.
She is survived by a loving son, William R. (Billy Bob) Hall of Lake Park; three grandsons, Forrest (Kate) Holder, Jesse Holder and Michael B. Hall; granddaughter, Jennifer R. (James) Byrnes; great grandsons, Levi Fairbanks and Garrett (Katie) Fairbanks; brother and sister in law, Woodford and Judy Bowen of Kentucky and a host of other family and friends. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Hall, her daughter, Susan H. Holder, grandson, Jason S. Hall and sister, Emma Jean Rose. The family expresses love and appreciation to Mr. and Mrs. Hues, her pastor and Sunday School Class and everyone who kept her in their prayers. The grace of God to her caretakers, Marci Sr., Marcy Jr., JoAnn, Teresa and Wanda.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, April 24, 2015 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Lake Park. Reverend Robert Dawson will officiate. Burial will follow at Lake Park Cemetery.
