Van Tien Le

Van Tien Le, 78, of Valdosta, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018. Mr. Le was born in Vietnam on June 5, 1940 to the late Nham Thi Nguyen and Manh Tien Le. He loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a doctor and later taught microbiology in Vietnam. After immigrating to the United States, he worked for the public health system in Michigan.
Mr. Le is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Hieu Thi Le, his son and daughter in law Michael Huy Le and Thuy Tran, his daughter and son in law Minh-Hien Thi Le and Michael Templeton, all of Valdosta, eight grandchildren, five brothers and four sisters.
A funeral service for Mr. Le will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at www.mclanecares.com. Carson McLane.
