Tokuko Donathan

Tokuko Donathan, 86, of Valdosta died Friday, January 20, 2023 at South GA Medical Center. She was born in Nagoya, Japan on May 6, 1936 to the late Sei Ishihara and Akiko Miyazaki Ishihara. Tokuko was a homemaker and an Episcopalian. She enjoyed college football and basketball and was a huge fan of FSU football. Tokuko loved her family and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, William Donathan, Jr. of Valdosta, David and April Donathan of Springfield, KY, Dean and Becky Donathan of Thomasville, and Daniel and Amy Donathan of Valdosta, grandchildren, Colleen Arnett (Brett) of Shelbyville, KY, Brandi Miranda (Chris) of Thomasville, Tia Dudley (Richard) of Chicago, Daniel Donathan, Jr. (Meghan) of Valdosta, LeeLa Wood (Austin) of Valdosta, Kali Hendricks (Harley) of Valdosta, great grandchildren, Christian Miranda, Aiden Miranda, Morganna Donathan, Saffron Donathan and Gwyneth Wood. Tokuko is predeceased by her husband, William Richard Donathan.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at one p. m. at the graveside at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. Burial will follow. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at www.mclanefuneralservices.com.
