T.L. Paulk

T. L. Paulk, age 84, of Clyattville/Valdosta, died on Thursday September 20, 2018, at Pruitt Holly Hill Nursing Home. Born on July 25, 1934, in Willacoochee, Atkinson County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Clem and Edna Bennett Paulk. Mr. Paulk had worked for 28 years as a press operator at Owens Illinois. After his retirement he enjoyed traveling across the country driving for Travel County RV. He loved to watch television and spend time with his K-9 companions “Ellie & Precious”.
Survivors are his wife Mary H. Paulk; sons, Buddy Driggers of Valdosta, Terry (Christine) Paulk of West Palm Beach, Florida; daughters, Vicki (Ray) Cross of Morven, Anna Lasseter of Valdosta, Teresa (Wayne) Lee of Maryville, California, Debbie Paulk of Douglas; sisters, Christina and Lavonne of Willacoochee, brother, Sonny Paulk of Valdosta, twenty grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren. Mr. Paulk was preceded in death by a son, David Driggers and two brothers.
Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 24, 2018 at Sunset Hill Cemetery with Reverend Frank Gupton officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at www.mclanecares.com.
