Timothy James Miley

Timothy James Miley, 39, of Hahira died Sunday, March 7, 2010 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on September 25, 1970 in Hahira to James Elmer Miley, Jr. and Patricia Ann McGill Miley. Timothy graduated from Lowndes High School and attended Valdosta State University�s Pal Program. He had been employed with the Orvis Door Company and was currently with LARC, Inc. where he was an outstanding consumer always capable and eager to perform his duties. Timothy was a great gift and blessing to the many who knew him, especially everyone associated with LARC, Inc., the Hahira United Methodist Church where he was a member and served as an usher and helped serve communion, the city and community of Hahira and all his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his father, his special hero, James E. Miley, Jr. and his grandparents, James E. Miley, Sr. and Ethel Kinard Miley of Hahira and L. H. and Beatrice McGill of Nashville, GA. Timothy is survived by his mother, Patricia Ann McGill Miley of Hahira, his aunts and uncles, Doris and A. C. Stone of Valdosta, James and Ann McGill of Adel, Steve and Carol McGill of Lakeland, GA and Joyce Miley Sewell of Hahira, several cousins and a multitude of special friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at two p. m. at the Hahira United Methodist Church with Reverend Wayne Boykin, Reverend Ken Morgan and Mr. Hugh Chancy officiating. He will be placed in the church at one p. m. Entombment will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Tuesday at the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to LARC, Inc., 1646 East Park Avenue, Valdosta, GA 31602.
