Thurman Autrey Law

Thurman Autrey Law, 72, of Valdosta passed away on March 11, 2015 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born in Chula, GA on January 15, 1943 to the late Lloyd Abner and Annie Dumas Law. After serving in the United States Navy he moved to Valdosta where he resided for the last fifty years. Mr. Law was an avid coin collector and also enjoyed fishing and gardening. He loved his family and especially the company of his grandchildren.
Mr. Law is survived by his wife, Nancy Law of Valdosta; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Carolyn Euler of Valdosta; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Fae and Ronnie Millier of McKinney, TX, Mary and Charles Newbern of Valdosta, Beth Ellis of Valdosta; one sister, Linda McCormick of Gainesville, FL; one brother, Milton Law of Ty Ty, GA; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews and a large extended family. In addition to his parents, Mr. Law was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Myrtle and Ernest Masters; his wife, Lawrencene Law; his son, Lawrence Law; a sister, Jean Spells; a brother, Darrell Law.
Funeral services for Thurman Autrey Law will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2015 in the chapel at Carson McLane Funeral Home. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Bethany Hospice, 2700 N.
