Thorpe E. (T.E.) Weeks

Thorpe E. (T.E.) Weeks, 85, of Valdosta, died on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at Langdale Hospice House. Born in Cool Springs, Ga. to the late George and Ella Hall Weeks he retired as general manager of Spells Sign Company and was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witness.

Survivors include his wife, Jewell C. Weeks of Valdosta, whom he met in 1944 at Spence Field in Moultrie; two sons and daughter-in-law, Steven and Wanda Weeks of Jacksonville, Fl., and Joel C. Weeks of Roswell, Ga.; granddaughters and grandson-in-law, Gwyn and Robert Ice, Angela Campbell, and Jennifer Courson all of Jacksonville; great grandchildren, Brooke, Brandon, Brent and Bryen Ice, Richard Campbell, Kayla, Kamyrn and Kaleb Courson; brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Francis Weeks; sisters and brother-in-law, Helen Lott, Mary Ruth Hampton, Juanita Gaines, and Geneva and James Baggett all of Moultrie.

A memorial service for Thorpe E. (T.E.) Weeks will be held at 2 p.m on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witness on US Hwy 41 with Jackie Moore officiating.
