Thomas William Neal

Thomas W. Neal, 72, of Valdosta, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on October 26, 1940 in North Plainfield, NJ to the late George Joseph Neal and Emma Claire Nuller Neal. Mr. Neal is retired from the United States Air Force and Civil Service. He was a budget analyst with Civil Service at Moody Air Force Base.

Mr. Neal is survived by his wife, Wanpen Neal of Valdosta, two daughters and sons in law, Happy and Scott Pierce of Albuquerque, NM and Renee and Gil Morris of Scottsdale, AZ, two grandsons, Ian Pierce and Ryan Neal, two brothers and one sister in law, Gary (Pete) and Gigi Neal and Pat Neal of North Plainfield, NJ, two sisters, Jean Quatro of North Plainfield, NJ and Fern Faber of Palm Beach, FL, one sister in law, Ann Marie Neal of Safety Harbor, FL. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Joseph and Emma Claire Neal, three brothers and two sisters, Roger Neal, Gail Cribb, Larry Neal, Michael Neal and Lois Sailer.

A visitation will be held Saturday, February 16, 2013 from four until six p. m. at the Carson McLane Funeral Home. At his request no services will be held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society of Lowndes County, 307 East Jane Street, Valdosta, GA 31602 or to the charity of your choice.
