He taught Sunday school, led choir, served on various committees, was a deacon and served as chairman of deacons for several years. Wade Traveled life's pathway with Christ-like behavior, concern for others, love for his family, and devotion to his creator. God's word in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 describes Wade's character and love for the Lord, his family and friends: Wade was patient. He was kind. Wade did not envy or boast. He was not proud. He was not rude. Wade was not self-seeking or easily angered. He kept no records of wrongs. He did not delight in evil, but rejoiced with the truth. Wade always protected, always trusted, always hoped, and always persevered. He never failed us.
