Thomas Jeffery (T.J.) Parham, Jr., 31, of Valdosta passed away at his home on April 17, 2016. He was born in Valdosta on March 13, 1985 and has been a resident here all of his life. He graduated with honors from Lowndes High School where he was a member of the Georgia Bridgemen and graduated with honors from Valdosta State University with a B.S. degree in accounting. All who knew T.J. knew of his deep intellect, his plain and direct conversations, his love for football, and an uncompromising commitment to everything he set out to do. Not only was he a certified analyst but was an independent contractor with Avianna Global. T.J. was of the Church of Christ faith.
Survivors include his parents, Jeff and Tammy Parham; a brother, Matthew Parham; his sister, Rylie Parham; a special aunt, Kaye Parham; his grandparents, Bruce and Delita Barwick; a special aunt, Brenda Barwick Holton all of Valdosta; his niece, Amelia Cox of Homerville; cousins, Dustin Holton and Kelsey Holton of Valdosta; a great-aunt, Patricia Parham of Hahira; cousins, Sherry Parham Brown of Hahira and Sonya Shannon of Tampa, Florida; other cousins and extended family. T.J. was preceded in death by his mother, Debra Lynn Barwick and his grandparents, Bascom and Lorene Parham.
Services for Thomas Jeffery (T.J.) Parham, Jr., will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2016 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Minister Kent Heaton officiating. The burial will follow in the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
