Thomas David Clark

June 20, 1942 — November 7, 2009

Thomas David Clark (SMSGT. Ret), 67, of Valdosta died on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at South Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness. He was born in Livingston, Tennessee on June 20, 1942 to the late John T. and Olene Johnson Clark. He retired from the United States Air Force and has been a resident of this area for twenty years. He was of the Catholic Faith.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Ivy Clark; a daughter, Erika Clark; a son and daughter-in-law, Ian and Nicholl Clark, all of Valdosta; a daughter, Lucretia Busell of Cookville, Tennessee; daughter, Angie Clark; daughter, Lucinda Hawkins and a son, Shawn Clark all of Algood, Tennessee; five grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny and Georgia Clark of Cookville, Tennessee, and Teddy and Bernice Clark of Algood, Tennessee.

A graveside service for Thomas David Clark will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanefuneralservices.com.
