Thomas Carl Walker

Thomas Carl Walker (Tommy), 64, of Adel died Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Lowndes County on June 4, 1949 to the late George Quincy Walker and Mary Alice McIntyre Walker. Tommy was a truck driver and of the Church of Christ faith.

He is survived by two sisters and one brother in law, Betty Blankenship of Valdosta and Sarah and Trey Jones of Statenville, three stepsons and step daughters in law, William and Brenda Harris of Sparks, James and Julia Harris and Dwayne and Missy Harris, all of Adel, eleven step grandchildren, five nieces and one nephew. Tommy is preceded in death by his wife, Merline Weldon Walker, his parents and one step son, Danny Harris.

A memorial service will be held Monday, November 11, 2013 at three p. m. at the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira with Reverend Leonard Harnage officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery.
