Thomas Alfred Hightower

Thomas Alfred Hightower, 79, of Valdosta, died on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at his home. Born in Valdosta on February 25, 1938, Mr. Hightower was the son of the late Roy and Althea McDonald Hightower. An Army Veteran, he had retired from Wild Adventures where he took pride in and enjoyed his work as a groundskeeper. Thomas played softball in his younger years, he loved sports and was an avid Bulldogs, Falcons and Braves fan.

Survivors are his son, Mark Hightower of Valdosta, and his brothers, Maurice Hightower and Harry Hightower.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at Cat Creek Cemetery. Reverend Frank Gupton will officiate.
