Thomas Alan Rogers, 55, of Hahira died Monday, July 20, 2009 at his home. He was born in Hahira on January 7, 1954 to Hattie Ann Hodge Rogers and the late Wilbur Thomas Rogers, Jr. Mr. Rogers was an oil driller and a Baptist.
Survivors include a son, Chad Rogers of Savannah, his mother, Hattie Rogers of Hahira, sister and brother in law, Debbie and Richard Mitchell of Jasper, Fla., half sister, Donna Rogers of Thomasville, his grandmother, Vivian Rogers of Barney, brother in law, Danny Drew of Hahira, nieces and nephews, Ron Radney, Chase Cannady, Savannah Mitchell, Kylie Mitchell, Jessica Mitchell, Danya Drew, Terry Sublett and Jessie Drew and his former wife, Stephanie Hopkins of Savannah. He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur Thomas Rogers, Jr., sister, Cynthia R. Drew, his grandparents, Herbert and Jewel Hodge and Wilbur T. Rogers.
Funeral services will be held at 4pm, Wednesday, July 22, 2009 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home with Richard Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery.
