Theresa Ann Bennett

Theresa Ann Bennett, 65 of Valdosta, died on Sunday, January 1, 2006 at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Born on January 22, 1940 in Lakewood, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Rufus and Catheryn Carney Morey and was a member of Unity Sabbath Church of God.

Surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Judy and Bob Croft, Terri Lynne Temples all of Valdosta, Jo Jo and John Wolf of Stockbridge; six grandchildren, Gina McCullers, Jason Rothrock, Rocky Rothrock, Joshua Boone Temples, Crystal Ganas and Jessica Ganas; five great grandchildren and one sister, Elva Murray of Barnegat, NJ.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2006 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Latham officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time. In lieu of fresh flowers, the family prefers green plants. Committal of cremains will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2006 at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens.
