Thelma Adele Smith

Thelma Adele Smith, 84, of Echols County died Thursday, December 8, 2016 at the Holly Hill Nursing Home. She was born in Miami, Florida on November 22, 1932 to the late James Augustus and May Love Aldrich Moore. Mrs. Smith was an agent with Independent Life Insurance Company and a member of Statenville Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son and daughter in law, James and Lynn Adams of Echols County; her grandchildren, Jason and Juana Adams of Melbourne, FL, Amanda and Michael Powers of Kathleen, GA, Jessica and Vinnie Muscarella of Valdosta, Kelli and Jimmy Gay, Kortni Lawlor, William Lawlor all of Lake Park; great grandchildren; Carl Riley Adams, Mikayla Grace Adams, Autumn Cadence Powers, Cheralynn Michael Powers, Stephanie Louise Muscarella, Vincenzo Gabriel Muscarella, Dominic Anthony Muscarella, Zachary Gay, Katelynn Gay, Sydni Lawlor; her sister, Lila Lee Cox of Acworth, GA; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, James Arad Moore, Marvin Aldrich Moore, Robert Owen Moore and one sister, Nellie Claire Moore.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Monday, December 12, 2016 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Jeffrey Moore and Rev. Ted Sauls officiating.
